Many have predicted that Indonesia will become one of the 10 global economic powerhouses in the next 10-15 years. Some of the factors that c ontribute to this prediction is due to the huge population size and the growing entrepreneurship in the country.
In that regard, entrepreneurs in the country certainly deserve high appreciation. Whether small or big in business sizes, they work hard, with failures and successes, in coping with entrepreneurial challenges. But there is no question that they are the ones who drive the economy in the archipelago.
From the many entrepreneurs in Indonesia, some are worth appreciating due to their significant economic and social contribution. It might be some of the reasons why a prominent body called Enterprise Asia presented awards to at least 17 Indonesian entrepreneurs recently.
Convened in Hotel JW Marriot in Jakarta, the awards presentation evening was opened by the President of Enterprise Asia, William Ng and also attended by Robert Saputra, CMO of PAS FM, the co-organiser of Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards.
